Rules

Participant

It is the sole responsibility of participants to make sure they have agreed and understood the General & Game Specific rules when they register to a ESET UK Masters event. We publish these rules as guidelines to encourage fair play admins may differ from them depending on the circumstances.

General Rules

ESETUKMasters reserves the exclusive coverage of events, Third party partners may be assigned coverage rights. We will contact players if we wish to broadcast, if no contact has been made players are allowed to arrange their own coverage.

Individual events may have exceptions to rules which will be noted in the description on the event information page.

Events will be signed a head admin whom will make the final decision on any tournament related matter after consulting all parties.

Confirmation: (Check in) Starts 30 minutes before the event start-time, unless stated differently in description.

Reporting: The winning player must report the score imminently after the completion of the series using the Report Score Button on the brackets.

Replays: If Replay Uploads is set to Mandatory the winning player must upload the saved replays while reporting the score. We recommend players save and keep all replays for 7 days.

Race Picking: Players must declare race before map selection, races are not allowed to be changed during a series.

No Show: Players that are 15 minutes late for a scheduled game with receive a default loss.

Pausing: If a player pauses a game they must state the reason for the interruption and how long it will approximately take. The game can only be resumed by the player that paused the game after they asks their opponent if they are ready.

Prize Money

Prize money & travel assistance payments subject to player taking part at the Insomnia event tournament.

Communication

Use the Bnet messenger to contact your opponent. You can find your opponents battle.net ID via Player section or using toggle button on the brackets.

All players must enter Battle.NET Chat Channel "ESETUKMASTERS" You will be able to communicate with admin's and players for the duration of the event.

Map Pool

Map Selection

A map can only be played once in a Best of Three/Five Series. Map order is determined by veto:

Best of One: Player named first in the bracket vetos a map from the map pool, 2nd player vetos another map till one is left.

Best of Three: Player named first in the bracket vetos a map from the map pool, 2nd player vetos another map,.. till Tthree maps are left. Play these maps. First map determined by elimination till one map is left. The following maps are determined by losers pick.

Best of Five: First map determined by elimination till one map is left. The following maps are determined by losers pick.

Misc

Macro Keys: Macro keys/scripts that perform multiply actions are forbidden.

Disconnection: If a player drops in the first 4 minutes of a match, and there has been no contact between opponents, the game is re-hosted.

After 4 minutes, or if there has been contact, the remaining side can offer to re-host the game, otherwise the replay must be uploaded for an admin to decide whether the game is re-hosted.

Re-host In a re-hosted game each player has to chose the same race as they picked in the original game.

Repeat disconnecting will result in a default loss.
